About Calvern

Calvern LLC is an independent software company based in San Francisco, California. We build products of our own and operate them for the organizations that use them.

Most organizations already record what happens inside them: time, activity, tasks, exceptions, and events. Very little of it becomes something people can act on. Calvern builds software that closes that gap: tools that turn everyday records into clear reporting and better decisions.

How we build

  1. Start from the record.

    Analytics are only as reliable as the data underneath them. We design data capture and reporting together, so reports reflect what actually happened.

  2. Web and mobile from the start.

    Work happens away from desks as often as at them. Our software is designed for both, not adapted for one after the fact.

  3. Clarity over volume.

    Fewer, better measures. Every view should answer a specific question.

  4. Careful with data.

    Operational data describes real people and real work. We treat access control, data minimization and privacy as product requirements.

We build cloud-hosted web and mobile applications on established, widely used infrastructure.
